حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ هِشَامٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَزَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ وَأَمِيرُهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ عُمَيْرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَلَى فِلَسْطِينَ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ فَحَدَّثَهُ فَأَمَرَ بِهِمْ فَخُلُّوا

Narrated by Abu Kuraib: Waki' and Abu Mu'awiya narrated to us, and Ishaq bin Ibrahim informed us, all from Hisham, with this chain of narration, and Jarir added in his narration: "And their leader at that time was Umair bin Sa'd over Palestine. He entered upon him and narrated to him, so he ordered them to be released."

أبو عبيد النحام الكنانى وكان من اهل فلسطين ــسمع أبا موسى الأشعري روى عنه الزهري.

Abu Ubaid al-Nahham al-Kinani, who was from the people of Palestine, heard from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari and narrated from him al-Zuhri.

علي بن أبي أمية مولى ابى قرصافة روى عن أبى قرصافة روى عنه الريان بن الجعد من اهل فلسطين (سمعت أبي يقول ذلك)

Ali bin Abi Umayyah, the freed slave of Abu Qursafa, narrated from Abu Qursafa and was narrated from by al-Rayan bin al-Ja'd from the people of Palestine (I heard my father say that).

جبلة بن عطية روى عن يحيى بن الوليد بن عبادة [وابن محيريز - ] روى عنه هشام بن حسان وحماد بن سلمة، هو فلسطيني سمعت أبي يقول ذلك.

Jabala bin Atiyyah narrated from Yahya bin al-Walid bin Ubadah [and Ibn Muhayriz - ] and was narrated from by Hisham bin Hassan and Hammad bin Salamah. He is Palestinian, I heard my father say that.

قال أبو زرعة: هو من أهل دمشق، داره بها. حدثني بذلك دحيم. ممن رأى أبا بكر. وذكر محمود بن سميع أن ابن دراج فلسطيني.

Abu Zur'ah said: He is from the people of Damascus, his house is there. Dahim told me this. Among those who saw Abu Bakr. Mahmoud bin Sumi' mentioned that Ibn Darraj is Palestinian.

Basri and it was said Wasiti, and al-Nasa'i said Palestinian, narrated from Anas and al-Hasan.

يوسف بن جوان منــ اهل فلسطين ــروى عن أبي أمامة الباهلي انه لقيه بمحص روى عنه محمد بن زياد.

Yusuf bin Jawan from the people of Palestine, narrated from Abu Umamah al-Bahili that he met him in Mahis, narrated from him by Muhammad bin Ziyad.

فروة بن مجالد مولى اللخم منــ اهل فلسطين ــروى عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم مرسلا روى عنه المغيرة بن المغيرة وحسان بن عطية وكانوا لا يشكون انه من الابدال مستجاب الدعوة سمعت ابى يقول ذلك وكان بعض الناس جعل هذا الاسم اسمين فسمعت ابى يقول هما واحد

Furwah bin Mujalid, the freed slave of the Lakhm, from the people of Palestine, narrated from the Prophet (peace be upon him) in a mursal form, narrated from him by al-Mughira bin al-Mughira and Hassan bin Atiyyah. They did not doubt that he was one of the Abdal, whose supplications were answered. I heard my father say that, and some people made this name into two names, but I heard my father say they are one.

أَبُو جُمُعَة اسْمه حبيب بن سِبَاع من عباد التَّابِعين رأى جمَاعَة من الصَّحَابَة روى عَنهُ أهل فلسطين

Abu Jum'ah, his name is Habib bin Sibaa, from the worshipers of the Tabi'in, saw a group of the Companions, narrated from him by the people of Palestine.

أَبُو الزبير مُؤذن بَيت الْمُقَدّس يروي عَن عبَادَة بْن الصَّامِت روى عَنهُ أهل فلسطين

Abu al-Zubair, the muezzin of Bayt al-Maqdis, narrated from Ubadah bin al-Samit, narrated from him by the people of Palestine.

رجاء بن حيوة الكندي: وكان يكنى أبا المقدام. قال مطر: ما لقيت شامياً أفقه من رجاء بن حيوة، ولكن كنت إذا حركته وجدته شامياً يقول: قضى عبد الملك فيها بكذا وكذا. وقال هشام بن عبد الملك: من سيد أهل فلسطين؟ قالوا: رجاء بن حيوة، قال: من سيد أهل الأردن؟ قالوا: عبادة بن نسي، قال: من سيد هل دمشق؟ قالوا يحيى بن يحيى الغساني، قال: من سيد أهل حمص؟ قالوا: عمرو بن قيس السكوني، قال: من سيد أهل الجزيرة؟ قالوا: عدي بن عدي، قال هشام: يا لكندة؟؟!

Raja bin Haywah al-Kindi: He was known as Abu al-Muqdam. Matar said: I have not met a more knowledgeable Syrian than Raja bin Haywah, but when I moved him, I found him to be a Syrian saying: Abdul Malik judged it as such and such. Hisham bin Abdul Malik said: Who is the master of the people of Palestine? They said: Raja bin Haywah. He said: Who is the master of the people of Jordan? They said: Ubadah bin Nasi. He said: Who is the master of the people of Damascus? They said: Yahya bin Yahya al-Ghasani. He said: Who is the master of the people of Homs? They said: Amr bin Qais al-Sakuni. He said: Who is the master of the people of the island? They said: Adi bin Adi. Hisham said: Oh Kinda!
